Find out that the Viking story is much more than about raiding and stealing, but also about the use of trade, democratic decision making and women’s rights.
Did you know that most Vikings were farmers? On a walk in our viking garden, you can experience wild growing and cultivated plants, herbs, fruit and vegetables. You will learn how these were used in the Viking Age – as food, spices, medicine, and for clothes.
Have some fun too! Try your hand at axe throwing and archery.
